WINTER FASHION STAPLES SECTION: JEANS

What I like about winter is that jeans are a fashion staple that come in many varieties but make sure your try jeans on first before you buy them to accommodate each woman’s unique shape.

When you try on jeans try squatting, jumping, bending over, sitting, crossing your legs and walking. This helps you to assess whether you can function properly in them. Say no to the camel toe and crack exposure.

Here are some good tips when buying jeans

1. Buy jeans that fit – Stiff denim is a thing of the past. With new stretch fabric innovations, there is a pair of jeans that will fit even the curviest of figures. You may have to try a couple of different sizes in different labels, but don’t let this put you off. Once you have found a brand you like, stock up!

2. Consider the cut of the jeans – the skinny leg is still a big fashion trend, but a boot leg cut is more flattering for most body types. If you do have larger thighs, a trouser-style may be a better option.

3. Dress up your denim – jeans are one of the most versatile basics you can have in your wardrobe. You’ll need a lighter, more casual pair for the weekend, and a darker, dressier pair for the office. Add a pair of party heels, a fashionable bag and a pretty, feminine top, and you have a perfectly chic outfit.

For winter wear them with different beautiful variety of boots. Knee high, ankle boot, thigh high boots, half Wellington rain boots, mid calf boots and change your style up.

Stay warm and pretty this winter
