Meet George, our VicFalls HAMBA blogger to cover MOSI Day of Thunder

Tall, dark and handsome are the words to describe our brand new HAMBAnite (like Tanzanite is gem team member of HAMBANOW), George Chigaru (Who is also a reader of CONCRETE JUNGLE BLOG) from the resort town of the iconic Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.

The mullti-lingual hunk speaks English, Shona, Ndebele and Chewa is also a blogger, of his lifestyle blog VODKACOCONUTS – www.vodkacoconuts.co.zw.

Over the years, despite coming from a small town the Malawian travel enthusiast keeps working hard by working in the service industry and acquiring various skills, he is currently studying towards an Honurs degree in Communications in addition to his certificates in computers and tour guiding.

This weekend, MOSI LAGER is relaunching in Zambia, Livingstone at the MOSI DAY OF THUNDER festival. Honouring our shared icon, The Victoria Falls commonly known as Mosi Oa Tunya in Tonga for “The Smoke That Thunders”. Our boy George will be lighting up our social media.

The festival is headlined by Diamond Platnumz a superstar from East African nation, Tanzania alongside local artists, musicians and DJs.

Tanzanian Bongo Flava recording artist and dancer Naseeb Abdul Juma, popularly known by his stage name Diamond Platnumz, is among the highest-earning artists in the region.

He is best known in Zimbabwe for featuring in Jah Prayzah hit song Watora Mari, which featured him singing Shona with Zimbabwean top artiste.

“All is set for this weekend’s event – it’s going to be thunderous. It is official: Diamond Platnumz is coming for this year’s Mosi Day of Thunder, joining with our very special local artists,” said Zambian Breweries marketing head Nomonde Donsa.

In addition, the music, arts and culture extravaganza will see the unveiling of a new Mosi song, in a never-before-seen collaboration by local artists from different genres.

Zambian Breweries will also be unveiling exciting news about the iconic Mosi lager brand as part of the festival, which will be a celebration of Zambia through all senses at party-goers will see, taste, hear and feel the Mighty Thunder.

Our HAMBAnite, George will cross the Victoria Falls Bridge, to Livingstone and give us all the details of this epic event as the FALLS reach high tide, so will the MOSI DAY OF THUNDER celebrations.
