What to wear
Now since this is a free before 1600hrs and cheap after 1600hrs (I mean 3 dollars won’t buy a decent Chicken Inn Meal). A few ideas are popping in my head on the appropriate dress code.
Wearing shoes that are easy to walk in is a must. So put away those stiletto platforms that might cause a heart attack when you miss a step or almost stumbled on a protruding rock/paver. Either go bright coloured wedges or Espadrille wedges that are earthy. Those would be my recommendation.
If you must wear flat shoes because of your personal reasons and preference, I would recommend you were flats that have character and are on trend. I would opt for glittery flats, be it pumps/sandals.. have a statement shoe that will make you look comfortable but not too comfortable.
The easiest choice would be dark jeans and a clean tshirt. However if you want to know what I would recommend would be a jumpsuit in cotton OR a summer dress. The jumpsuit has to suit you, not all body types can get away with it. A summer dress can suit any body type.
So I hope you can come join in the fun in an effort for a greater cause and network with local and international creatives with Zimbabwean roots.
